An alternative title for this post could be One Stamp Set, Two Cards.
My second design is bold and colorful.
Card one uses the Distress Oxide blending technique to create the beachy background. I allowed the panel to dry overnight before stamping the design elements in black pigment ink followed by a layer of clear embossing powder. I finished it off with a line of clear Stickles to imitate the surf.
Card two was created with the same stamp set however this time I stamped the images onto white cardstock and colored them in with alcohol markers. The texture on the yellow circle was created using the Lumen folder from Simon Says Stamp. I matted it in pink and adhered it to a bright blue panel of cardstock where the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in white.
