Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #202

Thanks so much to all who played along with the Sisterhood during our last challenge.  We had a full gallery of fabulously inked cards!  Our new challenge is somewhat similar in nature.  Can you guess what it might be from my card?

The chickens are none too happy with Mr. Bear's choice of snack.  ROFL!

We would like for you to pull out that often ignored gel plate and use it in the creation of your card.  You may use paints, pigment/dye inks or as in my example, alcohol inks.

My background was created on the gellie plate using yellow and gold alcohol inks, a stencil and a piece of Yupo paper.  I played around with the combination until I got the background pattern that you see here.  I stamped, die cut and colored the rather distraught foul and the oblivious bear.  The sentiment and chicken tracks were stamped in black pigment ink and heat set with clear embossing powder.  (Very carefully...the Yupo paper will melt.)  Finally I arranged everything onto the background which was adhered to a kraft woodgrain card base.  I have no idea who I'll send this too but the idea has been in my head for a long time so I'm happy to finally get it down on a card.

I invite you to visit our blog and hope you'll come play along with us.  We'd love to see another full gallery this fortnight!

  5. Brave you - I have ruined a good Yupo design even with very careful heat use. This turned out perfectly, and of course I love the snark!
