We have an interesting topping for you this fortnight over at the Seize the Birthday challenge blog. We want to see "Many of Something."
Not only did I use many leaves on my card
but I also included many more in my photo backdrop. :-)
I ink blended several different colors of dye inks (along with white pigment ink) to create my background. I used the same inks to create the colors on my die cut leaves. I edged the panel with a gold pigment pen, heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a gold tag and added several gold foil pearls as the final embellishments.
Supplies:
Lawn Fawn - Tropical Leaves stencil
Waffle Flower - Greenery dies
Pink Fresh Studio - Pause for Applause stamp
I invite you to visit our blog for more inspiration. We'd love to see your card in our gallery. Remember, or toppings are always optional but remember to make it a birthday card.
As always, thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!
Jules

ReplyDeleteI can't help it, this just looks like a Florida card and it could be used for many occasions. Thanks for the idea.

ReplyDeleteOh, sweet! I love the look of so many leaves, and the effect layers between them. Even the stacked leaf die cuts on top look great! Awesome card!
ReplyDeleteLove the die cut leaves on top of the stencilled ones, such a lush tropical feel, love the shades of green too, Cathy x
