Lee always comes up with the best graphics for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenges and today is one of my favs.
I have three small dogs and an acre of property so we take my chances with our own poo BUT I never fail to pick up after my dogs when off my property. Fortunately most of my neighbors are equally as considerate. Let this post also serve as a PSA. :-)
On to my card....
Cute, right?
I decided on a surprise approach to rudeness.
I've seen many cards recently that have used this same sentiment and decided it was about time I did so myself. I'll just have to be considerate about my choice of birthday recipient.
To create my card I first stamped, colored and fussy cut my kitty. If you're familiar with this image you may recognize that I swapped out his Christmas mug for a generic tea cup. Next I set about determining the inside placement of Sir Kitty along with the window placement on the card front. Once I figured out the design I set about ink blending a background on the interior of the card as well as stenciling a brick pattern on the front. The window was finished off in black with a white ledge. I positioned the sentiment sticker below the window so that it would only be visible once the card was opened. Would you be offended to receive this wonderful handmade card?

Excellent! Always love a cat card and when you add in some snark I'm hook, lined and sinkered! Jo x

Oh Yes, I am that old!! Such a fun [yet a little rude in a snarky way] card! I thought his look was from watching a neighboring dog on your lawn! RUDE indeed!

LOVE it Jules! LOL! That quote is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteDuncan usually only answers to "Lord", but he'll accept Sir Kitty this time. :D I love the colouring of his wardrobe, and noticing how easy it is not to make that a Christmas hat he's wearing. Love this!
