CAS Colours and Sketches #410

It's Tuesday which means another weekly challenge is up over at the CAS Colours & Sketches blog.  YoonYoung has a fabulous sketch for us to try.

And I had the perfect half wreath stamp in my stash for this sketch.

I stamped the layered wreath using two different colors of blue ink.  I nestled the die cut dove into the arc and decided it made a perfect sympathy card. I added my usual of clear droplets and adhered the white panel to a blue card base.

I had no inkling at the time that I would need this card so soon.  My neighbor lost his 10 week battle with Covid on Friday so this will be going to his wife, a very good friend of mine.  So hard to believe.

Supplies:
The Ton - Pragmatic Wreath stamp
Simon Says Stamp - Turtle Doves die set
Ellen Hutson - clear droplets

I add this to the bottom of each of my posts but it is even more meaningful today....

Continue to stay safe and healthy my friends.   _____________________________________________________________________________

Happy Crafting!

  4. Oh my goodness, Julie, I'm so sorry! Your friend will surely love this beautiful card - it's sad to need one, but I don't think there is another card that is more appreciated. Ask me how I know.
