Seize the Birthday #184

An unusual evening post but I'm trying to get my Seize the Birthday card in before the challenge closes.  We're gonna do this quick and dirty style.

The Challenge

The Card

This card was made super easy with the help of a beautiful sheet of patterned paper.  I started by stamping the Happy onto the front.  I die cut out the Birthday sentiment and added some white embossing to the bottom third of the letters.  (In hindsight I probably should have embossed in black rather that white.  Next time.)  I then positioned the word onto my card front and using my MISTI I re-stamped the Happy sentiment to create the overlap onto the word birthday  After that it was just a matter of adhering everything down, including the clay hearts.

Supplies:
The Stamp Market - It's Your Birthday (happy)
The Stamp Market - Time to Celebrate (birthday)
Alexandra Renke - Lena's Spring Collection designer paper
HoneyBee Stamps - clay hearts

  3. I dunno, I like the ombré transition of the black to grey to white for the sentiment. This is so pretty with the left-edge design of the paper and the big sentiment! And yay for playing at Seize the Birthday!
