It's Tuesday once again which means it's time for a new challenge over at the CC&S challenge blog. Our hostess Jeanne has a very fun sketch for us to all try.
I decided to embrace my white space with something other than white for something a little bit different this time around. As I was photographing my card earlier today my daughter walked in and very astutely commented that this shirt matched the one I was currently wearing. Ha! (Not planned.)
To create my card I stamped the shirt in Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink and then used a clear embossing powder over top for some shine. The heart was done in the same manner. The b/w paper is a scrap from a very coveted piece of patterned paper. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto another scrap of red cardstock. I have a very short supply list for you this week.
I do hope you'll come play along with us this week!
Supplies:
Hero Arts - Ooh la la stamp set (shirt, heart, sentiment)
The Stamp Market - patterned paper

Not _consciously_ planned, at least. :D Very cool way to interpret the sketch!
