Thank goodness for home based hobbies right now! Today I'm playing along with the folks at the CAS(e) This Sketch challenge blog where the current sketch is actually a throw back to their very first one.
I flipped the sketch upside down and created this using a very old (and unused) stamp set from Studio Calico. I must have sweets on the brain. (Or my dairy/gluten free diet is haunting me.) My last card was an ice cream cone and today it's cupcakes. If you can't eat it, create it. :-)
I used two colors of ink to create the frosting and colored the bottom cupcake with Copic markers. I added a few tiny pink stars and mounted it onto a pink card base, leaving a small left border.
Stay healthy my friends.
Supplies:
Studio Calico stamp set

Way to flip it!! So fun!
ReplyDeleteI was fine until I read your post Jules and now I'm a tiny bit peckish...! Love the way you've coloured the cupcakes - that frosting looks real. The little stars are such a great finishing touch too. Vicky x
ReplyDeleteI'll bet I was baking cupcakes just when you were stamping these, Julie! Tom says he's happy to eat an extra one for you... thanks for playing! xx
ReplyDelete=]
I hope you enjoyed snacking on some gluten-free crackers while you made this yummy looking card! ;)
