It's Tuesday once again so the CAS Colours and Sketches team has another challenge for you to try. Today's sketch is from team member Jeanne and I don't think it gets any more Clean and Simple than this....
Here's my take -
Because my sentiment is actually larger than my focal image
I chose to stamp it on the inside of the card.
Obviously this was pretty simple to create especially given the fact that the bordered card panel is a piece of designer paper. I stamped out my image and colored it in with alcohol markers. I then added some additional shadows with my colored pencils prior to fussy cutting. I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the chocolate portion and let the image dry overnight before popping it up onto the designer paper using foam adhesive.
This card went postal to my niece on the day I assembled it. It was the perfect card for her 20th birthday.
Supplies:
Avery Elle - Sweetest stamp set
PaperTrey Ink - designer paper
Copic markers
Polychromos colored pencils
Glossy Accents

What? None of my patterned papers ever fit a card perfectly the way this does. Nicely frames that delicious-looking ice cream cone!
ReplyDeleteI could use an ice cream... who says hot fudge isn't for breakfast??
