CAS(e) This Sketch #362

The current sketch over at the CAS(e) This Sketch challenge is an interesting one to me.  I am very intrigued with the longer focal point of the balloons in this sketch.

I kept my card extremely simple as many of my sympathy cards tend to be.  Without further ado, here's my take on the sketch.

I added some texture to the finished card panel but it's a little easier to see in my closeup photograph.

I started with the berry sprig which I stamped in a Copic friendly ink before doing some very simple coloring.  I double stamped the stitched line and added the sentiment in between to mimick the sketch.  I finished it off with a smattering of sequins. (Is there a name for sequins that don't have a hole???)

Supplies:
Penny Black - Berries Delight stamp set
MFT - Essential Sentiments stamp set
Simon Says Stamp - Crafty Friends stamp set
PaperTrey Ink - Linen Cover Plate
Pretty Pink Posh - sequins

  1. Pretty! I'm with you, CAS just seems to work for sympathy cards. And I've seen sequins without holes called confetti...
