Happy May 1st to all of my Crafty Friends! As the time this posts we hope to be moved into our new home in North Carolina. After over forty years in Florida we're ready for a change of scenery however the main incentive for moving is to be closer to our kids. The past few months have been extremely hectic but hopefully we're on the home stretch now.
Enough of that. Let's get to my Color Hues challenge card for this fortnight. Stef is our host and she's chosen Yellow and Blue as her pairing. Here's my card....
Supplies:
Simon Says Stamp - Picture Book Fish die
Ellen Hutson - S'Whale stamp set (waves)
MFT - Cooler with You stamp set
I invite you to visit our blog. We have a variety of blue and yellow examples to show you and hope you're inspired to play along!
Thanks for visiting!

Love this Jules! I think the layout is super fun with the overlapping circles. A great card for any occasion.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this fun fish, Jules! And your double circle layout works so perfectly for him! Good luck on the unpacking. Hopefully we can get together sometime soon now that you are closer.
ReplyDeleteLove your bold use of the colours Jules, a real eye catcher. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the circle in the circle design Jules, and your sweet fish and waves work beautifully in the design! FUN sentiment too! Hope the move is done and you are enjoying your new home and can find everything! We're in the process of moving my mom, and it is SO much more work than I thought, so I feel for everything you've been going through! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteJules, I love the bold graphic look to your card! That fish is perfect for these color and the sentiment is quite fun. I'm hoping things have gone as smoothly as they can for you. It's a big deal to move after all those years and then top it off with it being to a new state. Glad your children will be there and hopefully help get you unpacked and settled.
ReplyDeleteLove everything about this, Jules! The double circle is a great design idea, and one I'm filing away to CASE. The bright colors are eye-popping--such a fun card! Hope the settling in is going smoothly.
ReplyDeleteYou've definitely achieved your goal to create something whimsical; your fish is adorable! Fabulous design; fabulous showcase of yellow and blue.
ReplyDeleteYayyy for being in the home-stretch of your move. So excited for you!

Jules, congratulations on finally moving. I know the past few months have been so busy for you and your husband so much to pack when you're packing 40 years up. I wish you so much love and joy in your new home and I'm so happy that you're gonna be closer to your family. Your cute fish is just so much fun and makes a great birthday card!
