Happy New Year Crafty Friends!!! I hope Santa and his elves were good to you and your families. I must have been very good because he gave me my gifts early in the form of Black Friday crafty sales. And he was very generous. LOL!
The first of The Sisterhood's 2026 monthly prompts is to use something new. It can be something brand spanking new like my deer below or something that's been in your stash for ages that just hasn't seen the light of day yet. My deer was a Black Friday Honeybee gift with purchase and I couldn't wait to crack him open. Of course it always helps when you have the perfect sentiment to make a classy die cut just a bit snarky.
I die cut the deer from colored cardstock scraps and added a bit of shading to the body area. I created some snow hills from white glitter cardstock and used a pretty red metallic cardstock for the bow and the sentiment strip. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed in white and the background was splatted with diluted white paint to create the illusion of snowflakes on a dark winter night.
Supplies:
Honeybee Stamps - Black Friday Freebie Reindeer die set
MFT Stamps - Sassy Pants Holiday sentiment set
