It's time for a new topping over at the Seize the Birthday challenge blog. See if you can guess the new prompt from my card.
Yep, today's topping is Faces.
I don't make many kids cards so today was the day to add a new one to my stash. I thought this would make any little birthday girl smile.
This cutie was die cut in white then blended out with Distress Oxides. The background panel is a single piece created by ink blending and partial embossing. A simple sentiment and some clear droplets finished it off.
Supplies:
Spellbinders - Die of the Month Jan 2019
Spellbinders - Your Day stamp set
Spellbinders - Geo Screen embossing folder
I invite you to visit our blog for more holiday inspiration. We'd love to see your card in our gallery. Remember, or toppings are always optional but remember to make it a birthday card.
As always, thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!
Jules
She is a cutie, who would not like this one? I think that children's birthday cards are hard. Harder than masculine ones. You did it!
ReplyDeleteSuper fun - she is perfect for this challenge
ReplyDeleteJules, What a perfect image for this topping. I love the EF background as well. Well done!
ReplyDeleteFab colouring, Jules - I thought you’d used coloured card stock! Love her little face 😍
ReplyDeleteIsn't this sweet! I thought you'd used 2 panels for the backgrounds, so I am surprised to find its only one. Same goes with the girl - thought you had used colored cardstock. The girl, of course, looks adorable! Awesome card, Jules!
ReplyDeletePerfect for a little girl, love the embossed background too, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! Great layout and colours. I have a hard time with kids cards - you rocked this one!
