It's a new month which means the Happy Little Stampers team has new challenges up on their blog. The focus of my post today is the October Christmas Challenge. Our new (optional) prompt is JOY.
My card is a mix of kraft and shiny metallics.
I began by die cutting the bulb from a gold mirror cardstock. I then die cut the word "joy" from the center and inlaid a second "joy" cut from black mirror cardstock. I used the same two cardstocks to die cut the hook and bulb connector. I adhered the completed ornament onto an embossed panel which was then adhered to a kraft panel using a sheet of craft foam. A simple yet elegant holiday card.
I invite you to visit the blog where you'll find new challenges appearing this week. We'd love to see your Christmas creation in our gallery!
Supplies:
Impression Obsession - Ornament die
Altenew - Angled Mosaic embossing folder
Carta Bella - Joyful Pine die set
Tonic - Mirror cardstocks
Continue to stay safe and healthy my friends. _____________________________________________________________________________

That is a very cool embossing folder, and a great backdrop for your shiny ornament! Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteBring on the holidays, Julie! These mirrored cardstocks were the perfect choice for your bauble - LOve that little hook!
