I haven't had much time for card making outside of my DT assignments but I had to squeeze in a card for one of my favorite challenges. Today's card was made with the current Color Hues duo in mind.
I thought I'd buck the trend of autumnal and/or floral cards and create something a bit different.
I began with a balloon stencil which I inked three times onto a white cardstock panel. I hand drew in the strings and bows and then ran the panel through an embossing folder. I added a narrow black mat before adhering it onto a cream card base. I used the ink to color a matching strip before stamping the sentiment in black and finished it off with a few flat sequins.
Supplies:
MFT Big Balloon stencil
Altenew - Angled Mosaic 3D embossing folder
Clearly Besotted - A Little Sentimental stamp sentiment
