The past several weeks have been a whirlwind of activity in my house as well as all across the state of Florida. Life has definitely been good, so much so that I think this is Tuesday. Yes?
Given that June blessed us with five Tuesdays we have a Double Challenge up at the CC&S blog. To play along you will need to not only use our selected color trio but also incorporate the three colors into this week's sketch.
Feel free to rotate/flip the sketch but only the colors in the palette,
along with neutrals, may be used on your card.
I guess I'm having a phone obsession lately because here we go with yet another retro phone card. I think they just make a fun way to say hello.
I pulled out three shades of cardstocks which closely matched our color trio to die cut the phone. I assembled the bits and pieces in an pattern that I liked and adhered them together. I added a bit of texture to the background using an embossing folder. To keep my card from getting overly busy I created the tag portion from vellum, stamping and heat embossing the sentiment in black pigment ink and clear powder. I adhered it all to a heavy weight black card base, popping up the phone's receiver with some thin foam tape.
Supplies:
Sugar Pea Designs - Call Me stamp set
Sugar Pea Designs - Vintage Phone die set
MFT Stamps - Scallop Bookmark die
Altenew - Deck Planks embossing folder
I invite you to visit our blog and would love to see your card in our gallery!
Continue to stay safe and healthy my friends. _____________________________________________________________________________

What a funky phone this is Julie! A great way of using the colours and I especially love the little orange tab you've put at the bottom of the sentiment. Vicky x

I'm definitely not tiring of these fabulous retro telephones Julie and this one is so zingy - I love it! The vellum banner piece is a neat trick too.
