Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter 2020

I've seen so many wonderful cards over the years from a blog group called The Coffee Loving Cardmakers but I've never joined in to play....until now.  They currently have a celebration/contest going on with tons of fabulous prizes up for grabs.  Not gonna lie, winning a prize is always nice however I'm playing because I'm so very inspired by all of the DT creations as well as those from  fellow cardmakers who are playing along.

I did some stash diving and pulled out several things from across the board
of manufacturers which led to this...

I knew I wanted my bear to be holding a cup of coffee so that's where my initial stash diving started.  After that I was just a matter of choosing my background design.  I created the background panel using the ink/embossing folder technique that I love so much.  It was beautiful but I decided to add another layer of texture by rubbing a Distress Ink pad over the top to soften it up a bit.  I stamped, colored (Copics) and die cut the focal elements and arranged them onto the cut down panel.  I used the same Copic marker to color white cardstock so that my heat embossed sentiment perfectly matched my cup.  I really love this sentiment and my cute little bear so much.  How much you ask?  Well, I love him more than coffee.  :-)

Supplies:
Ellen Hutson - All Inside stamp set (bear)
Ellen Hutson - Voices in my Head Accessories stamp set (coffee cup)
Simon Says Stamp/Neat and Tangled - Hello Pumpkin stamp set (a past Stamptember collaboration - leaves)
MFT - Coffee Break stamp set (sentiment)
Memory Box - Cross Stitched frames
Sizzix-Tim Holtz - Texture Fades embossing folder
Distress Oxides - Gathered Twigs and Antique Linen

If you have a minute or are in need of some mojo you should definitely go check out the entries.  There's so much fabulous inspiration there!

Stay safe and healthy my friends!
