25 Days of Christmas Tags - Post 1

I look forward to Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags challenge every year and I would encourage anyone who hasn't tried it to jump right in.  My participation has resulted in many near and dear friendships and I always find so many "new to me" crafters to follow on social media.  I'm so happy 2020 didn't dampen this fun holiday challenge.

To simply my life, you can find the details on Tracey's blog.  In a nutshell though, each day showcases a different manufacturer.  We, the participants, create a tag or tags inspired by her one of her Design Team examples.  Here are my tags for Days 1-5.  For more details on the folks who inspired me as well as the products I've chosen and, please follow me on IG @juliepeddicord

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3 (two sets)

Day 4

Day 5

I'm trying to add some diversity to my tags of previous years along with breaking open and using some "virgin" stamp sets.  Days 3 and 5 used such sets.  It was so hard to choose one sentiment and/or image so I made a tag with each of them.   The ironic thing is....I rarely use holiday tags.  I've always color coded my family gifts with different wrapping papers, eliminating the need for tags. But I do love creating them.  There's just something so satisfying in quick little start to finish projects.  Have no fear however.  I share these with my friends so no beautiful tag goes to waste.

Stay safe and healthy my friends!

  1. I used the same paper method when my kids were little, Julie! But your tags are really fabulous! Maybe you'll give THEM as a gift?

  2. There's just something about the tinay canvas that make tags fun! And I do like that Day 1 tag. :D Seriously, I like all of these!
