Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #168

A big thank you to all who played along with Edna's Ocean theme this past fortnight.  Today she has a new challenge for you over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers blog.


The new prompt is F is for FRIENDS.  







I pulled out another NBUS stamp set and got to work.  I thought this one was perfect for the challenge.  And in case you're wondering, I'm the one with my legs up in the air.  Ha!

I began by first stamping the image onto a panel of Neenah Solar White 80 lb card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I then colored in the gals and their accessories using COPIC alcohol markers. I used the B000 marker to create the illusion of water around them.  The sentiment letters were die cut from an alpha set and adhered to a strip of black card stock.  Both panels were glued to the front of a pool colored card base.  I used a white gel pen to add some finishing accents to the coloring.

    Awesome card. Love the images this is the group therapy I need, if we are picking I am the onew in the flowered tube, I like to show show how agile I am.

    Ha! SO much fun going on here... good that you've added a puddle for them, however, something tells me you and your friends here would have just as much fun lolling about on the grass!
    SO much fun... I'll be the one telling you you missed a few hairs on the back of that leg! LOL
