Is anyone experiencing fall weather yet? If so, I'm really jealous. Here in South Florida we have what I refer to as Faux Fall which basically means we pretend it's 60 degrees out when we drink our pumpkin spice lattes.
To get you in the Autumnal Spirit we have a new color challenge for you over at the CAS Colours and Sketches challenge blog. This color combo just screams fall to me.
The fine print ----For our color challenges, you must use all of the stated challenge colors.
You may add neutral colors; however, the challenge colors should be the most noticeable ones
featured on your card. We use Stampin' Up color names for reference, but you are welcome
to use any other companies' products as long as you match the challenge colors as closely as possible.
My last couple of cards have veered away from my "go to" style of Clean and Simple but I'm back on track with today's card. It's ridiculously simple but I love it so much!
I began by stamping the glass of bourbon onto both my card front as well as a piece of masking paper. I covered the bourbon with the mask and then stamped out the wine and the martini. This stamp set has a very modern feel to it so I added just a hint of alcohol marker coloring to the beverages. I wanted a versatile greeting and Happy Whatever just seemed to fit the bill. I finished it off the design with a few sequins.
Told ya it was ridiculously simple.
Come show us what you got this week!
Supplies:
Ellen Hutson - Voices in My Head Accesories stamp set
Hero Arts - Off Beat Holiday stamp set (greeting)
Stay safe and healthy my friends!
