It's just another Pandemic Tuesday which also means it's time for a new challenge over at the CAS Colours & Sketches blog. Today we have a sketch challenge for you to try.
While the sketch may be basic, the possibilities are endless. Here's what I came up with....
It's hard to see but I cut a strip right out of the center of a 4"x5.25" stitched card panel. I positioned a strip of gray cardstock in the horizontal center of a kraft card base and then popped up the white panels using some foam tape. I added two die cut pieces of kraft leaves in a circular pattern and then added a gray circle over top. I heat embossed the sentiment in gray onto a smaller white circle which I adhered over the top. My little additions make it my own without losing the integrity of the original sketch.
You can see the gray embossing a bit better in the photo below.
I really love the combination of gray, kraft and white. I hope to see you in our gallery this week!
Supplies:
Pinkfresh Studio - Leafy Branches die
The Stamp Market - A Few Words stamp set
Ranger - Watering Can embossing powder
Stay safe and healthy my friends!
