K is for Kids SOSS #156

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers has a new theme up today and with the advent of Social Distancing, there is no better time than now to consider playing along with an online challenge group.

 Our new challenge:

With the snarky theme in mind I created this birthday card.

Apparently blues and peachy/pinks are my on my brain because I just realized when writing this post that these are the almost exact colors that I used in my last Sisterhood card.  Ooops!  I promise to mix it up next time.

Because I lean toward's CAS I started by first printing off my computer generated sentiment onto a sheet of 80 lb Neenah Solar White card stock.  I grabbed a stitched rectangle die and cut down the image prior to stamping.

My stamp is fairly old (and unlabeled) but I do know that it's from the now closed Lil Inkers Stamp Shop.  Laura's original image has two different faces looking in opposite directions.  I wanted it to look like girl on the right was trying to show the one on the left something off to the side so I did some creative masking and stamping to make them twins.  I provided them with a bit of grounding and colored everything in with Copic markers.

I think you'd have to be pretty darned old to actually scare children so this sentiment is a good thing, right?  :-)

Supplies:
Lil Inkers - Unknown
Ink Blot Shop - Get Grounded
Copics

  3. You either have to be very old or just naturally very scary. :D Beautiful job getting the girls to look just the way you wanted!
