Simple Father's Day Card

Some years I go all out on Father's Day cards for the men in my life and some years I like to keep it simple.  This year was one of the simple years.  This is the card I created for my dad.

The focal point is one of Cathy Zielske's die designs.  If you don't follow her, you should.  I've been a fan since my early scrapbooking days almost eighteen years ago.

The background was achieved with an embossing folder.  It's easier to see in the second photo.  It adds just the right amount of  "oomph" to an otherwise simple background.

Add in a simple heat embossed sentiment and a few die cut hearts and voila!

This card says it all in simple style.

Supplies:

Misc heart dies
White embossing powder

Thanks!

Jules

  2. Yes, I am extremely fortunate and my dad is probably the person who appreciates my cards the most. Thanks for stopping by Michele!
