We have a very summery color duo for you this time courtesy of Bonnie, our Color Hues host this fortnight. She has chosen Green and Yellow as her combination. I've decided it's time for Happy Hour!

Seize the Birthday #309
The Seize the Birthday team has a new Topping for you to play with this fortnight. Glenda is our host and she's chosen Food and/or Drink as our new challenge. I went a bit rogue and created a Winnie the Pooh card because as we all know...
Poohs Love Honey!
I die cut Pooh and his honey jar from colored cardstocks and did a bit of subtle ink blending to create some of depth. Poor Pooh is shirtless in this set but I didn't want a Naked Bear so I made one myself. The red panel was stamped with a heart background using Versamark ink. I matted it with a matching yellow and then adhered it to a red cardbase. To make it a birthday card I stamped the Make A Wish sentiment. I think Pooh got his wish, don't you?

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #264
Today I'm sharing a card made for July's Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge. It is officially summer in the northern hemisphere so Edna has chosen Hot, Hot, Hot as her theme. I've made several beach themed cards recently so I chose another route for the prompt.
The card isn't snarky but I'm guessing I previously said something out of line to the recipient. That counts, right? LOL!
I first stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a teal cardstock panel. I masked the sentiment and stamped the background using Versamark ink. I added the die cut Cup 'O Joe and popped the panel up on the same color cardbase for a monotone look.
Supplies:
MFT - Hot Cocoa die set
Simon Says Stamp - Crackle Background
MFT - Coffee and Conversation sentiment stamp set
We invite you to play along with us this month. Snark isn't a requirement but it is highly appreciated.

Color Hues #113
Well it's July. Are we having fun yet? I think your answer to that question may be a direct function of where in the world you reside.
Fortunately we have another Color Hues challenge to distract us from world chaos. Tracey is our host and she's chosen the combination of Red and White as our duo. I added some touches of black and grey as my qualifying neutrals.
This is for all of those who need a hug today.
I had a heck of a time getting a semi decent photo of this one. Sorry, after 10,000 backgrounds and orientations this was the best I could manage.
I die cut and assembled my lighthouse and boulder and added it to a white cardstock panel embossed with rope texture. The sentiment was die cut, stamped and heat embossed in white. The finished panel was adhered to a red card base.
If you use my Spellbinders Affiliate Links to make any purchase it earns
me a bit of crafting cash at no additional expense to you. TIA!
Supplies:
Spellbinders - Guiding Light die set
Spellbinders - Castaways embossing folder
Spellbinders - Snowflake Wishes stamp/die set
