Realtor Cards

Just a quick post to document a gift bundle I created for my awesome South Carolina realtor earlier this year.  (We purchased a second home in the spring.)  She went above and beyond to help us out during and after our "out of state" purchase so I wanted to show our appreciation.

I made a bundle of twelve of these in different color schemes.  She really loved them.  The background is all white...not sure what the bluish hue is.  Most likely an editing error on my part.  LOL!

In case you're wondering, the house die set is from Spellbinders.

Thanks so much for visiting!

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers #269

Hello my Crafty Friends!  This Sistahs are winding down 2025 with a holiday challenge.  It's time to make and share your Cheeky Christmas themed cards!

Are you ready for the most awesome Edna Graphic ever?

Quite Excellent, Lee!

I just fell in love with this little guy.  He comes with three sentiments but this is my favorite.  It's going to my (grown) nephew as he appreciates my humor.

This was pretty simple to create.  I stamped the bird and sentiment onto kraft cardstock using a crisp black pigment ink.  (Altenew's Obsidian Black is my favorite.)   I used some colored pencils for the shading and then die cut it with a rectangle panel die.  I popped it up onto a green card base using fun foam.

Supplies:
Unity - Hold On Santa stamp set
Spellbinders - older rectangular emboss/die cut

I invite you to visit our gallery and hope you find time during this busy holiday season to play along.  We will be back on January 3rd to ring in the new year.

Thanks so much for visiting!

Recent Birthday Creations

I have several November/December birthdays in my family and I do try to make specialized cards when I have the time.  This fall was one of those times.  I am sharing three cards in this post, starting with one I created for my mama who turned 83 a week ago.

I created this one with a mix of products from Spellbinders.  I must have something for hands and bracelets because I own at least three die sets from different companies.  Mama loved this one.

I created this next card for my new son-in-law.  He hasn't received it yet but I do think he'll like it.  He is in his first year of law school in Columbia, SC where their mascot is... get this... The Gamecocks.  Yeah, I still giggle when I say that.  Their colors are red and black so I did my best with the only "cock in my stash."  (yeah, giggling at that too.)

The rooster is from Erin Lee Creates, the sentiment from MFT stamps, the embossing folder is from Spellbinders and the cute little chicken tracks are from Ellen Hutson.

And lastly this final one is for my grandson Fin who turns 11 in a couple of weeks.  That is so hard for me to believe.  He isn't into sharks quite as much these days but I always try to make a play on his name when designing his cards.

The fish are from Hero Arts.  They all come in a single background die but I did add one extra one in an empty corner.  The sentiment is from Crafting Desert Divas, the background die from  and I had to add a googly eye to each fish.  Given that he's asked for cash this year I think he'll love the surprise inside this one.  *wink*

Thanks so much for humoring me.  I hope you found something inspiring in this post.

Color Hues #123

Happy December to all of my Crafty Friends!  The Color Hues team is back with a new challenge.  Tracey is our hostess and she's chosen Pink and Green as our pairing.  This makes for a wonderful holiday color scheme (as I did) but don't limit yourself to that.

I haven't create a grid patterned card for awhile and with things always so busy this time of year I took advantage of a simple design.  I die cut two panels (one green, one pink) into quarters and then popped the two colors on opposite ends of a folder white card base using foam tape.  Using the leftovers I die cut two fir trees from each color and popped them up onto the opposing colors.  The sentiment was created on the Better Press before cutting with the matching die and popped up in the center of the panel.  I added some gems for the finishing touch.  Very simple but effective, in my opionion.

Supplies:  All Spellbinders products

We've extended the challenge period this month so you have until Dec. 29th to play along.  I invite you to visit our blog and add your pink and green beauty to our gallery.  We will be back on Jan 1 with a new color pairing.

Thanks so much for visiting!  Happy Holidays everyone!
